Open Evening - Foreign Professionals Network

This evening brings together people from a range of fields and backgrounds to help people mingle together and build their network. The evening will be relaxed with the chance to meet new people, interact with others and learn more about other professionals in the area. The evening is free of charge, open for everyone, and a stress free way to build your network.

Schedule for the evening: 

1. Sabine Larrieu-Hellestad - Project Co-Ordinator opens the evening and introduces the purpose of the network including the data that led to the formation of the activities (20 mins).   
2. Gina Finsrud - Halden Kommune Project Manager explains why the council is interested in supporting skilled foreigners to build their networks (10 mins).   
3. Matthew Lynch Associate - Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship explains his experiences of being an economic refugee, and some of the cultural peculiarities of Norway (25 mins).  

Introductions to other participants and break out sessions (1 hour).   

Coffee/tea and snacks will be served.   

It is important that you register, there are limited spaces due to Covid restrictions. Please rest assured that FHI recommendations will be followed throughout the event.
